introduction of new web-based tools for vision care providers. According to

The updated provider portal streamlines complex tasks for
vision care service providers, enabling providers to provide faster service and
more accurate coverage assessments. Zon Dunn, VP of Provider Relations for

‘an intricate dance of paper forms and fax machines,’ often with just a single
click.” The new provider portal allows eye care providers to view member
coverage, submit claims and request authorizations online, review the status of
processed claims, download manuals and forms, and modify their public profile in
the online directory. According to Ms. Dunn, “Online tools are the way of the
future, and will help us continue to attract and retain the quality providers we
need as we continue to grow.”
