The philosophy permeates all aspects of our performance and activities. And, because our members are part of our community, our commitment to service stretches beyond that related to the vision benefits.
Our employees participate with several volunteer organizations to raise awareness for a variety of worthwhile causes. Many of those charities and organizations may be accessed by our members or our own employees. Here are the names of just a few that Superior Vision supports through active volunteer participation or fundraising:
American Cancer Society
- Daffodil Days which raises the level of awareness regarding all types of cancer
- Race for the Cure which supports breast cancer education and treatment
U.S. Postal Service
- "Dear Santa" letter project which fulfills the holiday wish list for children in our local communities
National Ovarian Cancer Coalition (NOOC)
- Awareness activities and events in local markets regarding early detection of Ovarian cancer
Operation: Soldier Relief
- Filling and sending boxes filled with personal care, fun items to our soldiers stationed in war zones
In addition to these, each holiday season, the company selects a local convalescent home, and brings the spirit of the holidays to elderly residents in need of a visit, new pajamas, or anything on their wish list.
